Life is a Work of Art
Life is about creating. It is through creation that we give meaning to our existence. This meaning helps us define what our lives truly are. Creation has a broad definition. It can take any form—writing, crafts, visuals, audio, or anything else. It all depends on our interests and talents. God has placed us on this earth to give meaning to life, both individually and socially. Our role in society, our place in our family, school, workplace, and beyond—these are all shaped by our creations. When a creation comes into being, it undergoes a process of externalization. This process emerges from an inner and physical struggle, or what Kuntowijoyo refers to as internalization. It is a dialectical journey between thesis, antithesis, and synthesis, between the negative and the positive.
